Ali Rana is the Founder of AR & Co. – Advocates & Corporate Counsels and an accomplished legal practitioner with over two decades of professional experience. His practice spans corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, constitutional matters, arbitration, civil and criminal litigation, regulatory affairs, and complex commercial disputes. Throughout his career, he has advised and represented leading corporations, financial institutions, government bodies, international businesses and private clients. His transactional experience includes major acquisitions and investments, corporate structuring, due diligence, commercial agreements, banking and finance documentation, distributorships, joint ventures, leases, mortgages and other sophisticated business arrangements. His litigation practice extends across banking recoveries, corporate and regulatory disputes, constitutional petitions, civil and criminal proceedings, and matters before specialized courts and tribunals. He also has extensive experience in arbitration and expert determination, particularly in disputes involving oil & gas, electricity and supplies, FIDIC contracts and distribution of assets. A graduate of the University of London with an LL.B. (Hons.), Ali Rana was admitted to the Punjab Bar in 2005 and the Lahore High Court Bar in 2008. His professional career includes a number of reported judgments published in Pakistan’s leading law reports, reflecting his involvement in significant and complex legal matters.
